“Dr. Levitt is one of the best attendings I have worked with in medical school. He clearly loves to teach but gives the appropriate amount of independence and autonomy to students. He also is a great example of providing compassionate care for patients and working well in the care team.”

“He was consistently kind and respectful of everyone he worked with. I specifically noticed how he included our patients' nurses in morning rounds, as much as possible. In this way he valued their feedback and active care as much as anyone else's, if not more. He believed this to be a vital aspect of rounding -- bringing the team together to help each other make decisions regarding patient care. In this way everyone involved feels important and heard.”

“There was not a sense of hierarchy when working with Dr. Levitt. He made sure to emphasize that everyone was working together as a unit to help the patient. Dr. Levitt ‘s on the spot feedbacks were always encouraging, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. He made sure to compliment the students’ strengths while gently giving them critical feedback. He was very accessible and made sure we knew we were in a safe learning environment!”
